Your game, your choices. TenthStep stores progress and settings on your device, supports Apple Game Center, uses Google Analytics for Firebase, and offers optional rewarded ads through Google AdMob.
You can play without signing in to Game Center or watching rewarded ads. Ad-related data may be processed when ads are prepared, even if you do not watch an ad. Available ad privacy choices are under Settings → Ad privacy.
1. Who we are
This policy explains how 88s Technologies ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in the TenthStep iOS game (the "app"). For privacy questions or requests, email lephuong06t3@gmail.com.
2. Information the app processes
Game progress and preferences
The app stores personal-best scores, highest levels, line-clear records, and preferences such as sound on/off locally on your device. When you use Game Center, a game-specific player identifier is used to keep different players' local records separate.
Apple Game Center
If you are signed in to Game Center, the app submits scores and achievement progress to Apple and retrieves leaderboard and achievement information. Leaderboards can display your Game Center display name, score, and rank to other players. The app receives game-specific player identifiers; it does not receive your Apple Account password. You may play while signed out, with progress stored locally.
Gameplay analytics
We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand game usage and improve gameplay. Events can include app activity, game starts and retries, scores, levels, cleared lines, active play duration, game-over events, continues, and power-up collection and use. A randomly generated game-run identifier helps relate events within a run.
The analytics service may also process app-instance identifiers, app and device information, operating-system details, and automatically collected usage information. Our custom gameplay events do not include your name, email address, Game Center identifier, or board contents. The current Firebase integration disables vendor-identifier collection and advertising-personalization signals; these settings do not disable AdMob's separate data processing.
Advertising and consent information
Google AdMob and its advertising partners may process IP addresses (including to estimate general location), app or device identifiers, ad views and interactions, and diagnostic or performance information to provide, measure, and protect advertising services. Availability and use of advertising identifiers depend on device permissions and configuration. Google’s User Messaging Platform processes consent choices and information needed to determine and display applicable privacy messages.
The game does not request access to your contacts, microphone, camera, photo library, or precise device location for gameplay.
Support communications
If you email us, we receive your email address and any information you include. We use it to respond to your request. Please do not send passwords, payment details, or other unnecessary sensitive information.
3. How information is used and shared
Information is used to save progress, provide rankings and achievements, understand and improve the game, deliver optional rewarded advertising, respect privacy choices, prevent fraud, and respond to support requests.
Data is shared with Apple for Game Center and with Google and applicable advertising partners for analytics, advertising, consent management, and related service operations. A list of relevant ad partners may be available in Google's consent interface. We may also disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect rights, security, or users.
Advertising-related disclosures may qualify as "sharing" or a "sale" under some privacy laws, depending on how the data is used. You can exercise applicable choices through the privacy controls and contact method below.
4. Rewarded ads and your choices
Rewarded ads are optional. The app explains the reward before you choose to watch. Rewards are granted when the ad service confirms completion. Ad-funded Undo and Continue offers are hidden when no ad is ready. Choosing not to watch an ad does not prevent you from starting another game.
- Ad privacy: Open Settings → Ad privacy to access choices Google makes available for your region. Where applicable, you can change or withdraw consent. Ads are requested only when Google's consent service indicates they may be requested. If the form cannot load, try again when connected.
- Device controls: You can manage app tracking permissions in iOS Settings where available. Denying tracking permission does not necessarily stop all advertising or analytics data processing.
- Game Center: Manage your Game Center account and privacy settings through iOS Settings. Signing out stops Game Center features in the app but does not automatically delete earlier submissions.
- Analytics: Ad privacy choices apply to advertising; the app does not currently offer a separate in-app analytics switch. Contact us about analytics-related privacy requests.
- Local data: Deleting the app removes its local app data, subject to device backup and restore behavior. This does not automatically erase information already held by Apple or Google.
5. Retention and deletion
Local records remain on your device until removed with the app or otherwise replaced. Game Center records can remain with Apple and may be restored when you sign in again. Analytics, advertising, and consent records are retained according to the relevant service settings, purposes, and provider policies; we do not promise a single deletion period across those services.
We retain support correspondence as needed to handle the request and meet applicable obligations. Contact us to request deletion of information we hold. Some records may need to be retained for legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons. We may need additional information to identify a record because the app does not require a separate TenthStep account.
6. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent; or opt out of certain advertising-related sharing. Contact us using the email below. We may need to verify your request without collecting unnecessary information. You may also complain to your local privacy regulator.
Where a legal basis is required, we rely on providing requested game features, legitimate interests such as maintaining and improving the service where permitted, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where required. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
7. Children and families
Children's information is subject to additional protections under applicable law. Parents and guardians should review the app's advertising and Game Center features and the privacy controls available on their child's device. If you believe a child has provided personal information that we should not hold, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action, including deletion where required.
8. Security and international processing
We use reasonable safeguards for information under our control, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure. Apple, Google, and their service providers may process information in countries other than yours, including the United States. Their policies describe their security practices and international-transfer arrangements.

10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the app or its data practices change. Updates will appear on this page with a revised effective date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request consent.
